Hey, I’m Chrissy!
I’ve always known my path in life would lead me to the events industry. After working in the industry for over 4 years, I had the strong desire to create a unique and personalized planning experience for clients, thus I created CK & Co. Events.
My journey in the wedding and events planning world started with receiving a certificate in Event Management, as well as a certificate in Wedding Planning from the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada. From there, I worked in a variety of events including corporate, fundraising, public, galas, social, golf tournaments and of course, weddings. My ultimate goal was to always create my own business though, so when the timing was right, I did just that!
I am honoured to plan and coordinate every event that I am involved with. I love getting to know my clients and share their special day or help organize their important event. Whether you are planning a wedding, a corporate event or a social gathering, I want to bring you a stress free planning experience and an unforgettable event that your guests will be discussing for years.
When I am not planning events, you can find me taking my dog for a hike, heading to the cottage with my husband or planning my next vacation.
Where to start? As a professional event planner myself, I knew going into our wedding day that I would not be able to relax without knowing someone was there keeping things on track and knew the complete ins and outs of the day. I worked with Chrissy from CK&Co and can't say enough wonderful things about her. We had a very short engagement (90 days) and she helped us organize our day, timetables and vision without issue. She arrived on time on the day of our wedding, set everything up for us and put our vision to life with ease. She handled a music snafu right before I walked down the aisle with professionalism and ease; I don't know what we would have done if she wasn't there! She was kind, had a huge smile on her face all day, executed a day-of timeline to perfection and so much more. We had CK & Co. for our wedding. Chrissy was excellent at answering any questions during the planning process and she made sure everything fell into place the month leading up to the wedding. She made sure nothing was forgotten. The day of she was very helpful and I couldn’t imagine not having her there to do all the work behind the scenes! Very happy with the professional job she provided us!

Our experience with CK & Co Events was exceptional. Planning for a milestone party during the pandemic and while the rules changed frequently could have been very stressful, but Chrissy made us feel so comfortable and made adjustments as required to make sure the event could be special for my mom no matter what. The vendors that they work with are outstanding and every detail was top notch. What blew me away the most was the way that CK & Co were able to take the vision that I had for the event from an idea in my mind and make it happen just how I pictured it! We had Chrissy as a day-of coordinator for our backyard wedding. I was pretty stressed leading up to the wedding and I cannot describe how much it helped me relax on the day having Chrissy around! She was super helpful, organized and friendly. Highly recommend!
